Eric is a graduate of the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy, where he developed a passion for a science-based approach to massage therapy. Through his studies, Eric learned how muscles and fascia interact in the body, and how to apply that knowledge to help clients find relief from pain and discomfort.
With a background in design, Eric approaches the body as a work of art, keeping in mind the principles of form, function, and balance. He enjoys listening to clients to understand the root causes of their discomfort and uses his experience to identify which muscles may be connected to the problem. Using a range of techniques that best suit his client, he guides the client into a state of relaxation, releasing muscle tension and making space within the body for healing.
Being a Vermont native and now residing in Minneapolis, Eric enjoys the great outdoors through hiking, biking, and searching for top-secret swimming holes, and exploring what the city of Minneapolis has to offer. All the while, staying curious and current in educating himself, always seeking to deepen his knowledge and understanding of the human body.

When muscles are relaxed and restored to their optimal length, correct posture and alignment are more easily sustained. Massage can trigger the relaxation response, relieving the negative effects of stress and restoring balance in the body. Some positive effects of the relaxation response include slower heart rate, deeper breathing more relaxed muscles, improved lymphatic flow to flush toxins, and better internal circulation and digestion.
